17th Annual Ned Smith Festival for Nature and Art
MYO Park, Millersburg, PA
Free Admission. Plan to attend this wonderful outdoor festival along the Susquehanna River which celebrates the fascinating relationship of nature and art and celebrates the legacy of Ned Smith, local artist and naturalist. Fun for the entire family-educational programs, children’s activities, nature walks, ferry rides, vendors, and delicious food offerings.
BSP will participate by presenting a bluebird program, assisting with a nest box building activity for children and their parents, and hosting an educational booth.

Bluebird Society of PA Picnic and Box Building Event Lenker Park, 7501 Manor Drive in West Hanover Township, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
Directions: Interstate 81 to exit 77 (Manada Hill).
Go East on Rt. 39 (Linglestown Road) to the first red light past the Pilot Truck Stop. Make a sharp right (West) onto Jonestown Road
Travel 1. 2/10 mile then turn right (North) onto Manor Drive. Lenker Park will by on your left.

Bring covered dish and screw drivers and or drills to help assemble pre-cut nest boxes
The Society will be providing the meat portion of the meal.
Bill is considering making his "famous" home made ice-cream.
Nest Box pieces will be precut and brought to the picnic for assembly
We need 200 boxes and 525 kits, (725 Total)

Free Admission- Stroll the beautiful Hershey gardens, visit the Butterfly House and gift shop, and learn about gardening and nature topics at this wonderful outdoor event. Children’s activities, entertainment, educational displays, programs, and food vendors will be available.
