My name is Dr. Dean C. Rust, President of The Bluebird Society of Pennsylvania, and I have an exciting new program to share with you.The BSP Board of Directors recently voted in favor of a Pennsylvania Golf Course Bluebird Trail Initiative. What this means is that BSP wants to partner with golf courses across the Commonwealth to establish bluebird trails on golf courses in all 67 counties. We have members across the state who would love to monitor and help your golf course develop a trail of Bluebird nest boxes for your members to enjoy. The BSP monitors are highly knowledgeable in caring for, cleaning and reporting the results of each nest box. If permitted, they will post pictures and results in your club house for your members to enjoy. A year end nest box report will be given to golf course management and to the Bluebird Society of Pennsylvania's Nest Box Chairperson. She will place that report on our BSP website.
