26th Annual BSP Conference March 27 & 28, 2026 (Friday Evening & Saturday) Eden Resort & Conference Center Lancaster, PA https://edenresort.com/ Conference Chair-BSP President, Dr. Dean Rust BSP is happy to host the 26th Annual conference in Lancaster County. The meeting space, food, and lodging are all available at this beautiful and spacious venue. BSP has reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $209.95 plus 11% tax for conference attendees. Hope to see you there! A special mailing including registration and itinerary will be sent to all active BSP members in early 2026. Family Days on the Farm July 25, 2026 (Saturday) 9 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Location: The Farm of Lloyd Petersheim 740 Hartman Station Road, Lancaster, PA BSP supports this annual event called “Family Days on the Farm” every summer when we set up a “Bird Information Booth” and run a “Box- Building” activity for young Amish boys and girls ages 10 through 16. BSP members are needed to answer questions about birds and help youngsters construct nestboxes. 26th Annual Wetlands Festival April 25, 2006 (Saturday) 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Rain or Shine Wildwood Park, 100 Wildwood Way Harrisburg, PA https://www.dauphincounty.gov/government/supportservices/ parks-recreation/festivals-special-events Explore Wildwood Park’s treasured wetlands for the 26th Annual Wetlands Festival! A day of free, fun, and educational activities with special musical guests and food trucks. Enjoy wildlife exhibits, walks, and a wide variety of local and regional environmental organizations. Interact with live animals and make crafts to take home! There is something for everyone! Bluebird Society of PA will host an exhibit, and BSP members will be available to share information about how to increase bluebird nesting success. Stop by to say hello, to view our educational exhibit, and to purchase items from our merchandise store. Volunteers are needed!
